Report: Borrell: EU reaches limit of financial sanctions on Russia

BRUSSELS, Mar 10 (PRIME) -- The E.U. had reached the limit in financial sanctions against Russia, head of the E.U. diplomacy Josep Borrell told Franceinfo on Thursday.

"Concerning financial sanctions, we can always continue but we have come close to the limits of what we can do. We have done all we could," Borrell said.

He added that the imposed measures had caused a 40% slide of the national currency, and a ban on exports of high technologies for the industry and other sectors of the economy are extremely damaging.
